Turkeys & Taters & Thoughts

What are you thankful for? This weekend, I have learned I am more thankful than ever. Each month that goes by since the car accident (May 2015), I am able to do a little bit more, AND, even besides all of that, I have so much other 'stuff' to be thankful for. That word... 'stuff'. A roof over my head, clothes to put on that are clear and new, food for my belly, and friends and family that are there for me.

But more than that, if I didn't have those things, could I still be thankful? This Thanksgiving has given me an eye opener. Would I be thankful if everything went to the crapper and all I had left was Jesus? That's a hard question to ask myself. So I will focus on these truths in the meantime.

If you are a believer, you belong to God. Nothing can snatch us out of the Father's hand. No one and no thing can separate us from the love of God. These are deep and powerful truths.

I hope you had a great Thanksgiving.

"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.

My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.

I and the Father are one."

John 10:27-30

May you rest in the truths that are here in His word.
