hope in seasons of trials
Summer time for teachers... well I'll tell ya... We typically get away and recharge. BUT... I'M BACK!
Today's post is about having hope in seasons of trials.
1 Peter 1:3-7
3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, 5 who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7 These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
This set of verses is written for us to have hope through seasons of trials.
We will all have trials in life. I have never met a person who isn't fighting some sort of battle. This life isn't perfect and at times, the weight of a trial can seem unbearable.
BUT there is good news. Trials last for a season and that means they will eventually come to an end.
AND most importantly, we have HOPE. I believe it is possible to thrive in the midst of trials and the reason why is because we have the power of Christ. God will give you the strength you need to make it through the battle you are fighting. Just pray for it. God won't give you more than you can bear.
There is hope in Christ no matter what you are going through.
And, thanks for checking out my blog.
